Pause or delete a website
Stop a website's events for a while, or remove the website and its data from Pixel Relay.
Pause a website
A paused website refuses every event and its tracker script stops loading, so nothing reaches Meta. Its settings, mappings and analytics stay.
- On Websites, click the pause button in the website's row. Click it again to resume.
- Or open the website and untick Accept events from this site, then click Save changes.
Paused websites show Paused in the list. Filter the list with Any status, Active or Paused.
Delete a website
- On Websites, click the bin in the website's row.
- Read the warning and click Delete website.
The tracker on the site stops working immediately and the website disappears from your dashboard and analytics. Remove the snippet from the site as well, so visitors' browsers stop calling the relay.
Deleting cannot be undone from the dashboard. If you only need to stop events for a while, pause the website instead.
If you do not see these buttons, your login is not allowed to pause or delete websites. Ask your account team.
