1. Look for your visit in analytics
- Open a page on your site in a normal browser window. Some ad blockers block every tracker, so turn them off for this test.
- In Pixel Relay, open the website's Analytics and the Event log tab.
- Within a minute you should see a PageView row for your page, marked Delivered.
The tracker sends events in small batches every few seconds, and when you leave the page.
2. Check the browser
If nothing appears, turn on debug messages. Change the settings block of the snippet to:
<script>
window.PixelRelayTrackerConfig = { autoTrackPageViews: true, debug: true };
</script>
Reload the page and open the browser's developer tools (F12), Console tab. You should see:
[Pixel Relay] Initialized with endpoint: https://pixelrelay.co/api/track/...
[Pixel Relay] Event queued: pageview {...}
[Pixel Relay] Events sent successfully: 1
- No messages at all: the snippet is not on the page, or the settings block comes after the script.
- Failed to send events: open the Network tab and look at the request to
/api/track/. Its answer says why, see Events missing in Meta.
Remove debug: true when you are done.
3. Check Meta
In Meta Events Manager, open the pixel's Overview. Server events from Pixel Relay show Conversions API as the connection method. Meta can take up to 20 minutes to show them there.
